Raine is the half-breed daughter of a wolf beast named Celuna and a human man named Monty. Her parents met five years prior to her birth when Celuna came to live in Blanca Village. She and Monty became friends and later married. Raine is their pride and joy. She has white hair and gold eyes, taking more after her mother. Celuna taught Raine to fight but Raine prefers to avoid fights if possible. She can still put up a great fight if need be. She's well-liked by the other villagers but Raine always felt her path lay outside the village. So starting at the age of 14, Celuna and Will started letting their daughter expand her horizons and explore the world around her. Up until she turned 16, Raine had never been to another village.

Raine had a traumatizing experience when she was a child. She had wandered off into the woods surrounding Blanca near the mountain walls. She spotted a rabbit and gave chase. The rabbit went down a hole and she followed. However, the entrance was unstable and collapsed, trapping Raine inside. She started crying in terror as the light went out. She didn't know how long she was trapped in the hole but after what seemed like hours, she heard Celuna digging frantically, trying to reach her. She broke through the dirt, nabbed Raine by the tail and pulled her out. Raine's trauma resulted in severe claustrophobia with the triggers being shut in a small space with no light (like a closet without a light fixture) or something of that nature.

Also, if she's pinned on her stomach with her arms and legs restrained, it can trigger it as well. Someone has to be consciously restraining her in such a position to cause the trigger. In simple terms, they have to be purposefully preventing her from moving. Children resting on her back doesn't trigger an attack and neither does being pinned with her back to the floor. Raine is susceptible to severe panic attacks if her phobia is triggered. She hyperventilates, becomes paralyzed with fear, is unable to speak due to fear, and her eyes dilate.

Raine doesn't wear anything to hide her tail or ears since the people in Blanca are very accepting of her half-blood status and because they are very fond of Celuna. Raine wears a long, white tunic with black shorts. The tunic is cinched with a black belt and she wears white knee-high flat boots. A hole is cut in her shorts and tunic to allow her tail to banner freely. She wears her white hair short, citing how much easier it is to care for.
